A person who works to develop products in the biotechnology field is known as a biotechnician. A biotechnician performs experiments and assays, manufactures products, or assists with research using a variety of technical skills. There are positions within the Research and Development (R&D) department, in Manufacturing/Production, and in Quality Control/Quality Assurance. You may work in a laboratory environment surrounded by similarly trained technicians, or within a team of diversely skilled individuals in pursuit of a common goal. |
